A few of you have been curious about what life is really like aboard Hazel, so today, we're pulling back the curtain and giving you a peek into her glamorous underbelly.

This is the original hanging locker in the quarter berth, now cleverly repurposed into an electrical hub. It houses essential components like the inverter, solar charge controllers, and other key systems that keep Hazel running smoothly.

As you can see, Peter has significantly more storage space here, with plenty of compartments to keep things organized. The V-berth is actually the largest cabin on Hazel, offering both comfort and functionality.

Here we have Hazel’s platform bowsprit and anchor platform. This area serves a dual purpose: it’s where the anchor is deployed and also where the roller furling system for the large genoa sail is installed, making it a vital part of the boat’s sailing setup.

The V-berth. Where Paul wisely positioned his first mate so HIS brain gets beat up when sailing to windward. Smart move Paul. 😂
